The Blizzard Book is one of the most well-known and well-loved Hedi Kyle’s books structures. Hedi Kyle is known as the master of folded structures. Her background is in book conservation so many of her structures are glueless and designed to act as supports for other materials – thus making them useful to adapt for object collections,recipes, business cards, postcards and other ephemera.
In this course you will learn how to transform a sheet of paper into a book using only a bone folder and ingenious folding techniques. All the materials will be provided and no previous bookbinding experience is required.

This isn't an introduction into letterpress printing....this is about playing around with the proofing press and adana machines to create alternative limited edition prints.

You can develop pieces of art, business cards, greetings cards or you can use the day to produce endpapers for a design binding - it will be up to you!
